The Science

Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) helps the body produce serotonin, a neurotransmitter involved in regulating mood, appetite, and sleep. As women age serotonin levels drop which can cause hormone imbalances and consequential mood swings.

Dong Quai Root, often referred to as "female ginseng," helps balance oestrogen levels. Rich in gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), Evening Primrose Oil also helps to regulate hormones. Both plant extracts are commonly used to to alleviate symptoms associated with menopause, including hot flashes and mood swings.

Iodine is required by the body to make essential thyroid hormones that help regulate weight and cell metabolism.

Vitamin K2 play a pivotal role in cardiovascular health through the regulation of calcium. It also helps the body produce osteocalcin, which helps prevent low bone density.

Vitamin D is also essential for the maintenance of normal bones, helping reduce the risk of bone fractures, bone pain and osteomalacia.
